Forged This Week

From the saw to the door supplier to the site visit: four shop-floor upgrades.

One cut list for the whole job

Every part from every room in one searchable list, so the saw operator ticks parts off as they go and the whole shop sees what is left.

Where to find it: Sidebar > Work Management > Jobs > open a job > Items List > Print > Cut List

The job Cut List with the search box highlighted as step 1, a part's tick-off checkbox as step 2 and the Print button as step 3

Send your door order in minutes

Every door and drawer front on the job, sized and grouped by style and finish, ready to print or export as a CSV for your door supplier.

Where to find it: Sidebar > Work Management > Jobs > open a job > Items List > Print > Door Order List

The Door Order List with the Hide end panels filter as step 1, a door style filter as step 2 and the Export CSV button as step 3

Engrave cabinet numbers on parts

Your CNC carves the cabinet number and opening into each part, so the ID is still there after sanding and finishing.

Where to find it: Sidebar > System > Settings > CNC > Nesting > Part Engraving

CNC Nesting settings with the Engrave Part IDs checkbox as step 1, the Where to Engrave choice as step 2 and the Engraving Bit as step 3

Flag a dimension while site measuring

Right-click any dimension on a wall and enter what your tape says: it shows in red on the drawing, notifies the job's notes person, and turns green once the updated drawing matches.

Where to find it: Sidebar > Work Management > Jobs > open a job > Rooms > open a room > pick a wall > right-click a dimension

A wall elevation in the room viewer with Wall 1 selected as step 1, the 220 inch wall dimension as step 2 and the Flag site measure menu item as step 3
